Specific Knowledge:

  • Experience in Galaxy, Aritech and General Intruder alarm systems. CCTV and Access Control knowledge and experience.
  • Lenel, Cortech, Indigo Vision, Genetec and S2 experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Security Systems industry
  • Be able to identify potential sales leads and pass on to sales department
  • Good communications skills
  • Good time management and planning skills

Professional experience:

  • Significant relevant field service technical experience
  • Proactive response to all situations; ability to work alone and think on your feet.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • At least 5 years’ experience in servicing security products

Major responsibilities:

  • Drive excellent customer service by working with the supervisor and Protection Net Centre Call Centre by utilising the PDA hand held system to react to service calls and PMV’s
  • Service the Banking and Commercial customer base
  • Carry out service calls on a daily basis and react to outstanding weekly PMV’s
  • Accountable for all aspects of their van stock, safety equipment and training, must be flexible in working out of hours and be presentable and professional in front of customers
  • Primary role is to drive excellent customer service by working with the supervisor and PNC Call Centre by utilising the PDA hand held system to react to service calls and PMV’s

Vetting

STANLEY Security carries out Security Vetting on all employee who join the business. This is to protect our customers and our business and to demonstrate our compliance in line with our accreditations. Our vetting is carried out by a third party and is in line with current industry requirements. Security vetting involves the following: 5 year full employment history check, Disclosure Scotland (formerly CRB) check (for convictions not classed as spent under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act) , 2 character referees, a financial sanctions check (relating to any active CCJ’s – County Court Judgements, bankruptcy or IVA’s) that are active, and finally a terrorist check. In submitting an application to STANLEY Security, you are declaring that there is no reason why you would not satisfy these vetting checks if you were successful and offered a role. Further that where we have specific contractual arrangements in place with current and future customers, that you agree to be subject to these additional vetting stipulations, and those as stated above.
