STANLEY Security Case Studies


The Botley Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club, Southampton, is part of the Macdonald Hotels Group. Set in 176 acres of parkland, it comprises a 4-star, 100-bedroom hotel, an 18-hole golf course and a health spa.

The Requirement

With real-time communication essential, the management team required an efficient two-way speech solution, covering the hotel and health spa.

The Solution

STANLEY installed an Aquarius DECT solution, incorporating eight mobiles and 12 base stations.

Aquarius DECT allows immediate access to essential information and ensures the hotel is more responsive to customer needs. It operates in conjunction with an analogue internal telephone exchange to provide a cordless telephone system.

Each cordless handset is associated with an extension on the exchange and offers all the facilities that are available to the fixed telephone on the same extension.

The two telephones – fixed and cordless handset – are fully operational at all times allowing the caller to both make and answer calls from either. The Botley Park solution is also linked into call points in the health spa, so that guests can call for assistance if required.
